The winner is…

How to use the Wheel Spinner

  1. Enter one choice per line (or load a saved wheel)
  2. Click the wheel or press Spin; press Space/Enter when the wheel is focused
  3. Celebrate the winner, optionally remove it, and spin again

About this tool

The winner is chosen with crypto.getRandomValues() before the wheel starts turning, and the animation then lands exactly on that slice. Every entry has the same chance, no matter how fast it seems to spin. Enter a name several times to give it extra weight.

Wheels are saved in your browser’s local storage, not on a server. The Share link packs the entries into the URL itself, so whoever opens it sees the same wheel, and nothing is stored online. Use “Remove winner” for raffles and draft orders where each entry should win only once.

Frequently asked questions

Is the wheel spinner fair?

Yes. The result is picked with cryptographically secure randomness before the animation starts, and every slice is the same size and has the same chance.

How do I give someone better odds?

Add their name more than once. Each copy is its own slice.

Where are my saved wheels stored?

In your browser’s local storage on this device. Clearing site data deletes them. Use Share to move a wheel to another device.

How many entries can a wheel have?

Up to 500. Labels get small past about 100, but the draw stays fair.
