About this tool

Dice notation NdS+M means roll N dice with S sides and add M. For example, 3d6 is three six-sided dice (3–18), and 1d20+5 is a d20 attack roll with a +5 bonus. Each die is an independent, uniformly random result from crypto.getRandomValues(). The average of one die is (S+1)/2, so 2d6 averages 7, which is also the most common total.
